Nolina microcarpa (Dwarf bear grass)
Nolina siberica (Nolina sp. 'La Siberica') Central stem grows to 20' tall, with 2" wide, dark evergreen leaves, (does not show in picture) resembling a ponytail palm. White flower spike is 4-5' tall. Still an unnamed species, one of the hardiest of all the nolinas, grows at 8,380' in arid oak forest near the town of Nuevo Leon, near Siberica Mexico.
